My interface’s inputs and outputs are not available in Digital Performer. In practice this is not much of a loss, since external processing will have little influence on the host computer's CPU. For example, plug-ins that delegate their processing to external hardware or other processes, such as UAD plug-ins or Vienna Ensemble Pro, can not run in pre-generation mode, and will not benefit from it's increased performance.
